The Honorary Member category is reserved for individuals who have rendered distinguished service to the surveying profession or have contributed significantly to the objectives of the Surveyors Institute of Malawi (SIM).

This membership is conferred by the SIM Council and may be awarded to individuals who are not practicing surveyors but whose involvement, support, or leadership has had a notable impact on the industry.

Honorary Members enjoy recognition and engagement with the Institute but do not participate in voting or professional practice activities unless otherwise specified.
