About the Surveyors Institute of Malawi (SIM)
The Surveyors Institute of Malawi (SIM) is the leading professional body representing surveying and built environment professionals in Malawi. Established to foster excellence, innovation, and integrity, SIM plays a critical role in advancing the surveying profession and contributing to Malawi’s sustainable development.
SIM comprises three distinct but closely related chapters:
- Land Economy
- Quantity Surveying
- Land Surveying
Working closely with government bodies, academia, and industry stakeholders, SIM supports its members through continuous education, advocacy, and networking opportunities aligned with Malawi’s national development agenda, including the Malawi 2063 vision.
